She was sitting quietly on a park bench in the
crisp November afternoon reading A Walk To
Remember. So immersed in her book that she did
not recognise a figure creeping towards her. As
he came closer, one could see that he was
holding an object in his hands and that he
clearly did not want to be seen be her. He
stopped, took aim and hurled what appeared to be
a water balloon. It hit the target - the target
screamed and charged like an angry bull. She
must have been cold because the water would have
soaked her many layers of clothing. The book lay
forgotten on the park bench.

hey! she hollered. What was that for? she
jumped up angrily from the bench.
The truth was. he didn't quite know why he'd
done it. All the guys kept telling him that he'd
drive her away if he kept bugging her like that.
But did he listen? No, and here he was, about to
really get it from her, by the looks of it.
what is your problem? Why do you insist on
bugging me like this all the time? Why can't you
just leave me alone?
